Who We Are
Set Apart Youth (S.A.Y.) is CBC’s youth ministry, made up of students from grades 7-12. The ministry program includes Sunday School, Awana (24/7), Wednesday S.A.Y. meeting and various other ministry opportunities, fundraisers, and fellowships throughout the year.
Our Goal
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and in your purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT)
Our youth are the future of the Church. Our desire is to teach them to study the Word of God, develop a Biblical worldview, and live life bringing glory to God.

Our Youth Ministry Programs
Sunday SchoolOur Sunday Morning Bible Study focuses on Christ and His Word with an emphasis on imitating and following Him. We study topics from the Word of God that apply to real life. We strive to live the life that Christ has called each of us to and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ to do the same.

Awana (24/7)Awana (24/7) is our Sunday evening program that meets throughout the school year. We focus on all aspects that youth really get into…food, fun and fellowship. The food is memorizing scripture, the fun is game time and the fellowship is a Bible study. There is also personal Bible study for you during the week as an added bonus to learning to live the Christian life. |
Wednesday Night S.A.Y. MeetingWednesday night S.A.Y. meetings allow us to come together in a casual setting. We share about our week and study the Bible in a practical way that can be applied to our daily lives.

S.A.Y. Hang TimeWednesday night S.A.Y. Hang Time is when we come together for a time of fun. We hang out and play games, listen to music, talk or just relax. We meet in Room 403 in the Youth Annex. |
Summer S.N.A.C.S.N.A.C. stands for Sunday Night After Church. We usually have 6-8 meetings during the summer months. This is a time of food, fun and fellowship. We have a Bible study from 6:30-7:30pm. From 7:30-10:00pm, we eat, play games and enjoy each other’s company. These nights usually have a theme that ties everything together. This is a great time for fun and we would love for you to join us. |
Youth CampWe attend camp during the summer. These camps are ministry based where we can serve the Lord. There are many ministry opportunities to choose from and this week is also filled with quiet time, Bible study, worship, and fun. We have served in New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and North Carolina thus far. This week is a lot of fun and much spiritual growth occurs among the participants. |
