Get Back to the Basics on Sunday Nights
What is the gospel? What does the Bible teach about baptism, the Lord’s Supper, and the church? How do we pray, read Scripture, discover our spiritual gifts, and handle what God has entrusted to us? These are not beginner questions — they are the questions every believer must be able to answer with clarity and confidence. Beginning Sunday night, May 31, Pastor Mark will lead us through Back to the Basics, an eight-sermon series returning to the foundations that hold everything else in the Christian life together. Invite a friend, bring your Bible, and join us on Sunday evenings as we go back to what matters most.

For June, we're collecting ALL THINGS BOY, such as soccer balls with pumps, flashlights with extra batteries, toy cars/boats, small stuffed animals, musical instruments, marbles/jacks, yo-yos, small tool sets, fishing kits, foam balls, and small puzzles, to pack our OCC shoeboxes. Please remember we're collecting for age groups 2-4 years, 5-9 years, and 10-14 years. Place them in the giant shoebox collection bin in the Welcome Center.
We also need underwear, socks and t-shirts for all three age groups. Our sewing ministry continues to create shorts with pockets for boys and pillowcase dresses with pockets for girls. Denise Thompson has patterns and fabric available (pockets requested). We’re filling boxes for boys and girls in all age groups. Thank you for helping us meet the need.
