Dear Family of Faith,
After the way that you surprised us last Sunday (October 26, 2008), Diane and I think we know how David felt when he wrote the words, “My cup runneth over…” Psalm 23:5. As we drove to Raleigh after the morning services to pick up Jessica and Jonah from the airport, Diane read out loud the cards that you had presented to us. We shed so many tears of joy that we both got dehydrated. We don’t know how to express our appreciation and thanksgiving but we will try to show you our appreciation in the days ahead through “thanks-living.” Your many thoughtful expressions on “Pastor Appreciation Day”through your gifts and kind words were a tremendous source of blessing and encouragement in our lives – thank you and may God bless you!
